Beloved Soul Friend,
We are all facing so much these days. Each of us navigates some version of a mental, emotional, physio-spiritual distress portal to some degree, as we are inextricably linked to the hot holy mess of this world.
I see us choosing love wherever we can, and constantly learning about what it means to be good advocates and allies for ourselves in the midst of a karmic shit show/ world in purification process.
I personally have been meeting a place where choosing to align with my joy, strength & life force is now non negotiable for my health.
It feels true to share vulnerably with you my dear Songha, as you are part of the core support team for this music and an important member of my intimate soul song circle of love.
Some of you know that I have been living with and managing “autoimmune” illness for the last 20 years (Many other illnesses have indeed been healed, diseases miraculously cured in me, and still, this great teacher remains).
In light of this, it’s important to name that my relationship with the multidimensional cocktail of dis-ease, and it its sobering connection with death is intimate and central to how I navigate life. I find many gifts in the challenge of this “edge walking”, as I am required to again and again discover and deepen my relationship with surrender which is guardian to the doorway of infinite beingness beyond death and birth.
I am grateful for this direct experience of mortal struggle that has actively required me to cultivate my relationship with totality.
I give thanks for this surrender and deep humbling that comes for me, teaching me empathy for the human plight from the inside out, so I may be a true friend and support for those who I encounter or have the honor of connecting with on this path.
And still, I am human and going through hard things is not fun!! Not at all.
This last month I have again been challenged with a kind of exhaustion and depletion that has felt deeper than bones. Along with it at times has come an ancient sorrow, lack of inspiration and even apathy and loss of will to care or carry on.
After a lot of blood tests, I was diagnosed with severe anemia and found that my heart has not been getting enough oxygen, and quite literally has been working overtime to keep me alive!
These last days have brought me to a very important choice point~
Again, time to practice what I SingPreach, and exercise that deep soul muscle that only gets worked when we consciously engage our will to love in the face of the temptation to feel like a victim of our circumstances.
What I can say, is that I started feeling an upswing in my energy, ever so slightly, I could feel my whole organism responding to my choice almost right away…
I’m still awaiting special treatments, Iron IVs, and I’m not out of the woods yet, but FINALLY my song was able to be finished… as my soul light and resolve to realign with my life force came back online!
“On behalf of all thats sacred and all thats ever been, we are rising in our power again”. This means it requires work and our full participation even when we feel like were all out of spoons!!!
Life is a choice, and when we align with our will to heal and chose living, ALL THINGS become POSSIBLE.
And so beloveds, I would like to name that I am giving myself grace with my song timeline and submitting a small edit to my Subscription Songha Offering which is simply this:
I will endeavour to share a new song each month, and some months I may be in a deep process of some kind and require a bit more time before the transmission is ready to emerge from the birth portal!!!
