Songha Kin,

Here we are at the end of a cycle and the turn of a “New Year” in the Gregorian calendar.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of my life weave and this Songha. Thank you for trusting me and my medicine, for allowing me to share my intimate life musings with you, and for supporting this music to continue finding its way into the world.

I am profoundly ready to kiss this year goodbye~ with a deep thank you for all of the learning, the change, the humbling, the difficulty, the love.

Our song this month is indeed a song for Change times.

“Changes Come” invites us to “receive the moon and bless the sun”, to acknowledge that whatever is shifting, passing away, taken from our grasp, and transforming, is ultimately a gift from the benevolent hand bringing us closer to the blessings that are ready to find their way to us.

I speak a lot of developing a trusting relationship with the unknown. This is perhaps one of the most difficult things for us as humans, as it requires re establishing relationship with long lost cellular memory of Creation’s benevolence.

Deeper than our traumas, experiences of rupture and catastrophe, lies a secure attachment with the universe… its here for us, waiting for us to chose it!

This song is to help us release the ways in which we brace against change and life, and to reconnect with the fecundity of the mystery.
