Beloved Friend,
Blessed 2025! Although this Gregorian “New Year” is not energetically revered in ancient cultures as the true fresh start of a new cycle, I find that our collective intent over time has worn a groove in consciousness that imbues this time with a unique signature and power none the less.
In support of working with the current energies, I am excited to share something fresh with you, along with an exciting update to the Songha members portal.🔥
It was brought to my attention that some may desire to view past Songha videos, and a request to make all past videos available in a user friendly way was made.

Ok, so our new edition to the website this month is a Songha Video Library page that simply requires you to make a password to access it.

💫Now, for the offering this month…
This is a two part invitation. First, you are invited to watch the video below while seated in a comfortable position at your altar or on the earth. I recommend sitting on a cushion or blanket by a stream, under a tree, or wherever you might find a divine patch of glorious winter sunshine.
After you watch the first video, I suggest digesting and doing some meditation and writing, if you feel called.
Next is the second video with our song of the month.
If you would like for your Ritual to be even more potent, you can follow the altar refreshing/setting suggestions below, in the day/s before or after you watch the videos:)
If you do not have a refreshed altar set at this time, I encourage you to build one.
In service of focusing on and opening to Beauty, I invite you to get some fresh flowers (picked wild or store bought.. however calls to you!) for your home.
Remembering to cleanse any crystals/stones in either a vessel filled with salt (bury stones in it so mostly covered) or a fresh flowing body of water (in the ocean, or i a stream/river is fantastic for charging the crystalline structures). You can also leave them out on the earth touching the ground to be rained on and cleared by the earth & sky.
If you use this method, I recommend checking in with them to see if they need more than a day to clear their energy. Every stone is different, so its always a good idea to tune in and see what it needs.
Other things I like to place on my altars are:
~Fresh water, to feed the great mother of compassion and welcome/honor the presence of water spirits with their cleansing, life giving medicine.
~A candle, abuelo Tatewari to hold the living light and open portal for conscious transformation
~Selenite, for charging the space and charging with light.
Note~ for clearing negative, wasted, dirty and stagnant energies, its helpful to keep black tourmaline on hand, its black hole like magnetic quality is tremendously helpful in sucking out the funk (not the good kind:)
~White Sage and Cedar for burning, Sage for clearing and cedar for carrying prayers to the spirit world.
~Palo Santo for cleansing pain, clearing confusion, consecrating space and inviting the presence of the sacred & holy ones in flora and spirit form.
~Organic tobacco, for grounding, protection, and to pray with (for earth offerings) when called for.
